INCONEL FASTENERS

Inconel Fasteners
Inconel fasteners dealing with advanced fasteners. These are nickel and chromium special type of superalloys. They show optimum resistance to corrosion, oxidation and elevated temperatures in pre-extreme conditions. Fasteners enter into extremes conditions under which the solutions have to impose their operational reliability. The remarkable characteristics of Inconel fasteners render them highly applicable in instances of exposure to higher pressure, heat and corrosive/aggressive chemicals. They are highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion and therefore, they are ideal in the worst environments that are encountered within gas turbines and jet engines, heat exchanger, and offshore oil platforms.
Examples of such Inconel fasteners are bolts, nuts, screws, washers, and studs-varying grades of Inconel 600, 625, and 718. Each of the grades has a dedicated application as they are made to perform in particular conditions. Other than being the most resistant, the Inconel fasteners are the best in the mechanical strength considering that they sustain their structure when subjected to high loads and the thermocycles. Extra-long life and durability make them cost-effective, and are therefore a good option in applications that are critical where maintenance is minimised. Besides resistance, Inconel fasteners offer great mechanical strength: they give structure and strength when exposed to very high forces and thermal cycling. Long-lived and very durable, they have the capability of supporting the majority of the most critical applications, with a minimal maintenance.
